QPlay is a multidisciplinary research and art project bringing physicists, game makers and artists together to explore quantum technologies through games and playful art.

The project provides a platform for collaboration between students, staff and visiting scholars as well as artists and other creatives. More specifically, QPlay aims to bring together game creators and companies, machine learning experts, big data scientists, educators and quantum physicists. Through citizen science approach, also anyone can be part of the QPlay activities.
QPlay is a collection of projects with various partners and enablers. The project is a collaboration between University of Turku and Aalto University with such partners as Finnish Game Jam, IBM, and MiTale. The project is partly funded by the Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) project under the Research and Innovation programme Horizon 2020 by the European Commission and Centre for Quantum Engineering (CQE).
